Brisbane the riverside capital of Queensland.

It’s a great arty and outdoorsy city. Situated between the lush hinterland and ocean. With a laidback attitude, it’s the perfect gateway to many wonders.

Just a short drive, you can discover World Hertiage sites. The Glass House mountains making a great day trip. Scattered along the Sunshine Coast , 13 hills provide some awe inspiring landscapes. With a great choice of walking trails and stunning lookouts.

Mt Ngungun is one of the popular walking tracks with scenic views.

An easy track , with plenty of parking around.

The South Bank area of Brisbane has a variety of Galleries, museums and exhibits. It makes a lovely place to stroll along the river bank soaking up the views.

Just a short drive from the CBD is Mount Coot-tha. Provides a great backdrop of Brisbane city. We Enjoy grabbing a coffee at the cafe whilst soaking up the views.

Situated on the northern end of the Sunshine Coast. Around 120 km from Brisbane is the beautiful town of Noosa. Known for being a resort area.

With boutiques, cafes and surf can all be found in this area. Surrounded by lakes, beaches and national parks. The Noosa Heads National Park, offers spectacular views, woodland and coastal trails.

Home to koalas and other wildlife.

From here the main highway travels north to the beautiful region and home to the Great Sandy National Park. Gateway to Fraser island.

Hervey Bay and Burrum heads are beautiful coastal towns, long stretches of beaches.

Offering 4wd experiences along the beach.

Perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy Queenslands laid back life.

An excellent and secluded camp spot which we enjoyed to ourselves was situated in the Burrum National Park. Around 40 km off the main highway, only accessible with 4wd it’s provides a lovely peaceful bush camp experience.

Toilets, showers and an abundance of wildlife. Well worth the 12$ a night .
